Vanderbilt right-hander Carson Fulmer, a projected first-round pick this June, blew away Missouri's weak lineup Friday night with pure stuff, as he had below-average fastball command and threw only 70 of 120 pitches for strikes. Fulmer was in the 92-97 mph range and held his velocity deep into his seven-inning start, with a plus curveball at 81-83 that has very sharp, tight break and that he throws for strikes more consistently than he does the fastball. He'll also show an 87-89 mph slider that's short like a cutter and will flash an average or better changeup at 81-83.

The thing about Fulmer is there's no chance he can start with his current delivery and arm action.
