          Keith Law's Cactus League takeaways: Padres' Gore could soon be MLB's best pitching prospect

          MacKenzie Gore was the third overall pick in last June's draft but so impressed pro scouts in his debut last summer that he was the top-ranked 2017 draftee on my top 100 prospect ranking this January at No. 14 overall. Based on what I saw on Saturday afternoon, when Gore made his spring debut in a Padres minor league game, I might have had him about 20 spots too low.
