Scouting Yankees prospects and witnessing an #UmpShow

The Yankees took California prep right-hander Matt Sauer in the second round in the 2017 draft, betting on his size and arm strength over questions about the effort in his delivery, giving him a $2.5 million overslot bonus commensurate with a first-round pick. I saw Sauer pitch on Monday night at Aberdeen and it seems that his stuff has -- at least for now -- backed up a little bit, to the point where it's hard to forecast him as a starter.
